I'm also interested in how many polygonal varieties there are. I've started an
topic on it - with images - and got our forum members joining in. So far we've
got up to 16 sides, then there's a gap until we come to 22 sides and 24 sides.

An Alphabet of Heptagons - 1 new
--------------------------------
The first heptagonal coin was created by Britain's Royal Mint. It was a
British 50 pence coin, first issued in 1969. Since then the heptagonal format
has been used around the world. I've gone through the alphabet, trying to find,
for each letter, a country with a heptagonal coin or coins. To have a look at

Hong Kong: Elizabeth II and the Return to China - 1 new
-------------------------------------------------------
Hong Kong's coins of this period are a curious assortment. They use three
different effigies of the Queen, but they only updated the effigy on a coin
when that coin was redesigned, or reduced in size, or had its shape changed.
This means that a year series may have two or more different portraits of the
Queen. - Tues, May 24 2011 7:27 am

Alfonso XIII of Spain: from Empire to Republic - 1 new
------------------------------------------------------
Alfonso XIII of Spain was one of a select band of monarchs whose numismatic
portraits showed him from childhood onwards. He was proclaimed King at his
birth in 1886 and reigned from 1886 until 1931, when he fled the throne. The
Spanish-American War of 1898 saw Spain lose some of her overseas possessions

The rules from Don Willis, President PCGS. I think is is not good use of the
stockholders money to have the company president moderating the message board.
It's one thing to get banned from by some board moderator, but many hard
feelings when the president of the company personally bans customers - Tues,

Please consider making a donation to the Joplin, MO Tornado Relief through the
Heart of Missouri United Way. We spent several hours visiting Joplin on our
way back from the CSNS show a couple of years back, and are so saddened at the
huge destruction and loss of life. [link] Frank Provasek - Tues, May 24 2011
