...It's your call. If the note is in relatively good shape I would. If it's
bent, crumpled, dirty, torn, excessively worn, etc., maybe not. Your Hawaii
star note has an interesting history. Post a link to a photo if you can. Jerry

...It's really, really funny seeing you apologize. It's good somebody told you
that. Otherwise, how would you have known? Even so, you don't have it quite
right. Yes, Martin Armstrong was strictly a coin dealer early on. He owned a
coin shop when he was in his twenties, in the 1970s. I don't know for - Fri,

US dollar minting question - 5 new
----------------------------------
per my usual habits, the last time we visited the bank for a transaction I
requested some halves, $2 bills and any dollar coins for change. We got a full
roll of Andrew Johnsons, wrapper also marked as such. Since I usually get a
mix of nice to circulated loose coins, we usually just spot check them to see
whats in the mix and then spend spend spend. - Fri, Mar 11 2011 10:53 am

I've been doing illustrated topics on Anglo-Saxon designers, mainly English so
far but a couple of Antipodeans too. Now here is my first American subject.
I'm not as knowledgeable on him, so any additions would be welcome: [link] Mr
Roberts founded the Franklin Mint, which subject usually divides - Fri, Mar 11
