Three of my favourite thematic circulation coin sets of the 1970s and 1980s
were designed by one man, English artist and sculptor Michael Hibbit - though
it took me several years to discover this. Find out which sets they were by

After an initial run on the Mint for the limited edition First Spouse 1/2
ounce coins, interest seems to have waned as the price of gold (and the Mint's
ludicrous markup) increased. Checking the Mint web site, I notice that a BU
Buchanan's Liberty is still available. The "Liberty" coins may prove to be the
most popular sub-set of the series but - Tues, Feb 15 2011 6:10 am

Token dealer Steve Tanenbaum killed by NY stabbing suspect - 1 new

The Civil War Token Society has been in the process of updating the Storecard
book for many years, and should finally be published within a year. The reason
it has taken so long is because Steve was the primary source of information,
which he kept as notes in his old Storecard book, which was stolen a number of
years ago, which set the - Tues, Feb 15 2011 12:36 pm

The birth cirticates you recieve now-a-days has hand and feet prints, plus an
official hospital seal embossed on it. Not a piece of typewriter paper with
penciled in names and dates. Funny how the everyone in his immediate family is
living in Africa-as afrricans-except him. Just calling it like I see it. -

Also retired (early) 7 years ago. After 30 years of wearing jacket and tie to

dress up for the sole reason of impressing customers. As is the case with

Paul Vincze was a Hungarian who became a British citizen and produced many

Is the "finish" on uncirculated American Eagles supposed to be uneven in shine?

I bought some from a dealer not too long ago on the internet. I'm just curious
if its normal for the shine not to hit the coin evenly. For example, when
light hits a quarter, its more or less even across the coin, but on my
American silver eagles, the light hits the coin in circles or ovals so to
speak. I hope my description was - Tues, Feb 15 2011 8:09 pm
