HIYA, Several years ago I went all over the region visiting banks and loading
up on Kennedy halves. I saved a lot of them that were BU and put them away for
safe keeping. Last night I went thru a couple of boxes of halves that were
dated 15-20 years ago and couldn't find any wear on them when I looked under a

Won a coin on eBay from a seller in Toronto Canada (I'm in the USA (NY)).
After charging me $10 for "Express Mail", this dealer sat on his ass for a
week before mailing the coin, which then took another 10 days to get here. To
top it off, the coin was poorly packed and the slab had scotch tape residue -

Happened again today at a thrift store. Bill was $4.95 so I hand over 2, $2's
and 2 halves. The halves go under the till and the cashier hands me $1.05 in
change. I explain those were half dollars so she lifts the till, looks them
over and I hand back the $1. Then she takes the halves and puts both on top of

I received my first of the new shield cents in change tonight, at a CVS
drugstore in the Los Angeles area. I still haven't seen the fourth in the
