A group of new purchases (and a few from the TNA show that I didn't get around
to listing due to tornado damage to my home in June) Nice mix of slabbed and
raw coins, many with 1¢ start, none with hidden reserves. Everything hand-
picked by me from shows and wholesaler inventory to offer both eye appeal and
value. Thanks for looking. - Sat, Oct 31 2009 11:23 pm

Sorry to have missed the action. I was at the show on the 30th and 31st and no
one mentioned it. Sorry, too, that I did not log in to RCC as usual, or I would
have known to ask for details. The Ann Arbor show was fine, all in all. I
spent several hours there over two days. I bought some small things on the
first day. One of - Sun, Nov 1 2009 5:18 pm

Go with the Saint. With 8,8 million struck, it is hardly rare but it is
nonetheless a real Saint Gaudens $20 gold coin. The others are modern US Mint
knock-offs. What gives a coin value is its historicity. Mike M. Michael E.

Mine arrived a couple of days ago. It is a nice book, but it is clearly for a
certain class of "professional" numismatist and perhaps not for me. I do claim
to be a professional -- at least that is what our accountant tells the IRS
every year. But I write. My numismatic business is research and reporting.
This book is clearly intended for - Sun, Nov 1 2009 5:57 pm
