...It seems to me that half-dollar-sized coins are relics, everywhere. The
issue isn't the value, but the size. The UK downsized many of its
denominations in the last 20 years. When they first "decimalised" in 1971, the
50p and 10p coins were both roughly half-dollar sized. The 10p was exactly the

...Whatever system is paying you, mon vieux, you may rest assured that Bruce's
federal scheme is much much much better. I deal with federales most every day,
and they often laugh about how good they have it. I would perhaps like to be
nice, but really I want to make my elders uncomfortable for their own good.

..."Other key Scottish figures set to appear on the notes include Robert the

Coin and Slab Wood Displays? Where to find quality???? - 3 new
--------------------------------------------------------------
I am looking for some fine hardwood (walnut or cherry) cases made for PCGS
style slabs. I am looking for something nice, American Made, with a nice real
velvet lining. Not that foam stuff or molded plastic with a flocked surface.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! - Sat, Feb 7 2009 10:20 pm
