Have a look at the prices realised, I won't spoil it by listing any. All areas
of Russian antiques are booming at the moment, time to sell those Faberge eggs.

Have at look at the auction of 26 November, [link] The prices are amazing,
don't miss lot number 141 estimated at £6,000 to £8,000, the selling price is
so high I wonder if it's a misprint. Billy - Sun, Nov 30 2008 2:26 am

[link] Clicking on each denomination will give you the diameter of each coin.
The gold bullion coins, however, are the only ones whose diameter is given.
Does the 1oz silver coin and the various platinum coins have the same
diameters as their respective gold counterparts? - Sun, Nov 30 2008 8:35 am

Romaion (not "Byzantine") Coins and Culture - 5 new

...I don't know when it was coined, but even in the early 19th century it was
normal to call the empire of Constantinople the "Roman Empire." I just looked
up the article on Constantinople in my 4th ed Britannica, (1810) and nowhere
is the word "Byzantine" found - it was always the "Roman Empire" right up to
the fall of Istampoli to the Turks. - Sun, Nov 30 2008 9:59 am

Would you buy a coin from this unethical dealer? - 2 new

...The second coin was cleaned and that may be reason enough alone to consider
the first coin the better of the two. I do not know if the first coin is truly
MS-60, but it does have a more natural look of a 115 year old coin. It is the
one I would choose. - Sun, Nov 30 2008 1:04 pm

Can you believe the push, if not downright audacity of these mockeries on
national television? From infomercials to home shopping networks, someone is
spewing the worst form of autocratic rhetoric peddling US coins emblazoned
with a full color image of a Muslim mulatto in a business suit. It used to be
illegal to deface US currency, but we don't live in that - Sun, Nov 30 2008 8:
